a few stories

Today, Ada, Isaac, and me went to Target to shop a little and when we were checking out, Ada wants popcorn, as always. So I give her a dollar, she likes to order it herself, and tell her to stand in line and wait her turn. The line consisted of a mom and kids, another lady, and then a man. So, being my daughter, she walks up to the man, b/c men are suppose to help ladies, and says I need some popcorn please. So, he says "would you like me to buy you some popcorn?" Ada replies, "yes!" Of course she does. Anyway, the man was going to buy her popcorn, but I said absolutely no... Man, I guess that is just built in us ladies, we know a sucker when we see one... even at 3. As we are walking out we see this man and he tells Ada that he will buy her some popcorn next time he sees her. She was like "OK" in the happiest little voice she can have. It was funny and little embarrassing at the same time.
Lately, Ada has been watching Pocahontas and towards the end the Indians catch John Smith as their prisoner. There is a scene where John and Pocahontas are singing to each other and they are sad etc... which apparently my little actress in the making picks up on. She comes up to me and says Pocahontas wants him, she's sad... She even has a tear mustered up. I'm not kidding. It was like she was really emotionally involved in the movie. I swear if she is does not grow up and do something in the arts department I'll be shocked.

I laughed so hard when you told me the Target story. Hysterical! These kids blow me away at this age.

Hey Rachel! Thanks for the comment! Well, I wasn't sure if that was the law or not. I thought that the law probably required a certain "weight" or "height" to remain reversed. Korben is so so so tall, so I figured it was different. He will be One in a couple of weeks. I will definitely be keeping it reversed! By the way, your Ada stories are cracking me up! I would love to watch a disney movie with your little princess!
