Halloween on Saturday...

Well, Halloween weekend was busy... On Friday, I got the stomach virus, which felt like the real flu.... It was horrible! But the kids never missed a beat. This year Ada just had to be a Monarch butterfly, not just a butterfly a Monarch! And what a beautiful one she was... Isaac was a Train conductor and Zack was an astronaut. Isaac's hat really makes his costume and he was really against wearing it, but my mom put it on him and he wore it the whole time we trick-or-treated. Zack opted not to wear his helmet, it was hot.

We attended the 3rd annual Halloween party at the Freeman's (Bobby and Shelley's that is) It was a lot of fun as usual. The kids always have so much fun together and the adults do as well. I can't say I felt the best, but I didn't want to miss the kids Halloween... Since the party was on Saturday, most houses were not accepting trick-or-treaters, but there were a few. After several "no answers" we decided to let the kids just trick or treat at Bobby and Shelley's. All the moms had brought some goodies, so the kids just went up to the door several different times to collect candy... the kids loved it!

I'm pretty sure the kids just ate candy for dinner too... I warned them... I don't want to hear "oh my belly hurts" NO complaints! Candy for dinner must have worked out!

More Halloween proper pics to come...
