Easter was a great day! My parents came for the weekend and my kids couldn't hardly wait for them to arrive. On Easter morning, the kids woke up to their surprises from the Easter bunny... and I think they were pleased. I haven't really talked about the Easter bunny much, so when my parents came up and were asking Ada about the Easter bunny, she thought she was getting a real bunny... I guess I should prepare her better. The ate candy with their breakfast and then we all got dressed for church. Church was great!!! Then off to Dardanelle to eat with the family. The food was awesome and of course we all ate to much. The kids hunted eggs inside the restaurant... it was way muddy outside. They had so much fun. Savanah and Jessie hid them in the front and the kids had a blast finding them... I noticed my son is a little competitive.... Ada wanted to find eggs, but Isaac was getting that frantic look like where are they, I have to find them... it was quite entertaining. Turns out, the eggs had money in them, so Isaac racked up! I never got money in easter eggs. Anyway, we set out on the deck, and the kids played with Uncle Tim, until they wore him out.
After that, we went to see Savanah perform her human video at First Assembly in Russellville, and also perform in the Passion play they put on. If you have never seen the play, it is worth watching. It was great! In fact, the boy sitting beside my mom and behind us gave his life to Christ. Nothing is more inspiring than that. Lots of lives were given to Christ that night. It was a great ending to a wonderful Easter.

Hannah got that very same Tag book. In fact, we read/listened to it tonight together.
