But lately, that's really not doing it for her. Tonight (as I am trying to bribe her to eat mac and cheese, which she did & only gagged once,) I told her you have to eat so you can grow and get big. And of course the first thing out of her mouth is, I will be big enough to get a dog now? After she finished her chicken fries, she says my tummy hurts, I think I need a new dog... It's always some clever way to get a new dog. Matter of fact as I am typing this she comes to me and says when I get big I can get a new dog, but I'm little now...
The Culprit of this: Dora dvd "Dora and her new Perrito" So glad we got that one... She is obsessed with getting a new perrito. This is the theme of her birthday party as well. Dora and puppies. She's really into speaking Spanish as well... it's sad I can't teach her more. I don't really know any conversational Spanish. Maybe I should look into dvds that teach her Spanish, it would be so great for her to know it, since we are moving to Clarksville...
She has also been giving me a list of things she wants for her birthday... the most random things...a jack in the box, a guitar, a yo-yo, a slinky, "music" for her karaoke machine, and of course new dresses... I keep telling her when she asks, maybe for your birthday, I guess I need to stop telling her that or I'm gonna have a rather large bill to pay.
Isaac on the other hand has really developed his language skills. He's just saying so many new things like "I want that", "put on", "take off", "I want cookie" instead of just Cookie, " I want sit" ( in the recliner), "ball", "backpack, backpack"(from dora), all kinds of names: Papaw, Papa, Nana, Crissy, Zackary, Grayson, Ada, Bobby, Momma, dada, tim ( he says it really fast and it's really funny), charla, and some versions of everyone else, sorry to Shelley, Myra, Savanah, you guys shouldn't have hard names.
Just a few updates.

OMG! You did not just diss Clarksville with the Spanish comment! I do not know any Spanish and I seem to do just fine here. Last time I checked Clarksville was in the U.S. where English is spoken.
Most of the DVDs have a language selection in the set up menu and you can pick Spanish. Hannah always asks to watch 101 Dalmations in "sfanish". Not really sure why she's so obsessed with that particular movie, but she does like watching the spanish version of her movies.
I found this post most entertainings, particularly the Mexico City, I mean Clarksville comment and the part about Ada only gagging once. What an accomplishment! Mac and Cheese and chicken fries? You're really stretching it there.
I told her she could not spit it out either, some times thats an option for her, but I told her she had to swallow it... hence the gagging. Hey if I really want her to try something, I pair with chicken fries b/c those are her favorite.
And, lil mexico.., I mean Clarksville, would love to have a little girl like Ada speak Spanish, she could translate! lol
I learn so much from Handy Manny in the mornings.
