After nap today, Ada immediately noticed that it was snowing outside and wanted to get dressed and go outside. Snow is definitely on the top of Ada's list of favorite things, b/c there are few things that get her out of her PJs so quickly... (she takes naps in her PJs). So we layered on the clothes and we all went out to play. It was continuously snowing on us, and in fact it is still snowing last I checked. We have gotten about 6 inches so far. Ada really wanted to build a snowman, but the snow was just to powdery to make one, so we had a snow ball fight instead. She loved it. Mostly, though she threw the snowballs at me... we had to fix that. Snow balls are meant for daddy! Isaac wasn't sure what he thought... he mostly wanted to play with the regular toys we play with outside i.e. the shopping cart, lawn mower, chalk...etc. He was not happy when he couldn't really push the toys around. I had him so bundled up that he could barely move anyway. He tried to put some snow in his shopping cart, but it didn't really work out... He mostly just ate the snow and wondered around.
I'm sure we will be out there again tomorrow. I promised Ada we would try and build a snowman in the morning. Maybe the sun will be shining on us!

We're hoping for sun and snow tomorrow, too. We went out after nap, but it was SO windy and cold and almost dark that it wasn't a ton of fun. Both kids made a couple of snow angels and chased each other around. I didn't even really take pictures. Maybe the weather will cooperate better tomorrow for playing outside.
I have to laught at Isaac being so bundled up he can barely move. Janson can relate to that.
