A good day at the freeman house

Well, as you can see Isaac is doing well with the sitting up. He's getting there, he still falls over or backwards mostly but he's getting stronger by the day. It's nice when they can sit up... I'm so ready for that. Then maybe Ada will interact with him more. He is always so interested in her and she's so not interested in him. She says hi to him and maybe will talk to him for a few minutes but then she's back to her own things.

For the past two mornings we've been getting the sippy cup with some apple juice. He loves it. It didn't take him very long to catch on. It seemed like it took Ada longer than that. He holds the handles by himself just has a hard time tipping the cup up so he can get the juice. He's such a big boy. Also, we have started eating green beans. He really likes them. I am so glad. So see it doesn't matter if you start with fruits first or not, it's the child not the food. He's doing great and and drooling all over the place. I keep waiting to see that tooth break through but it hasn't yet. As much as he chews his hand, I'm sure we'll know when he gets it.
As for Ms. Ada, we are getting ready for her party this weekend. She will be three. She got her package from Paula and the boys today, but she's gonna wait and open it on her birthday... her decision. We went to the park today. The temperature is really nice, but the wind is still blowing. It didn't seem to bother Isaac though. He fell asleep in the little front carrier thing, while Ada just played and played and played. I can't believe all the things she can climb now. It was amazing. I was scared for her, but I didn't show it. She was fearless, not like my child at all, but she was. I was proud of her. She even tried the monkey bars.... It was a lot of fun.
ON a side note, we go to the carol ann cross park... well apparently this is an upscale park. You should see what these kids come to the park to play in. Not to mention what the parents are wearing. These kids are wearing tights and patton shoes, clothes I would not put my child in to play in the dirt. The moms are all dressed up, boots with heels, beaded necklaces the whole nine. I guess I'm just not with it. Last I checked the park was suppose to be for casual attire, but not these days. Oh and they closed the bathrooms, and of course Ada had to go, so we just went around back and Ada squated and used the "grass potty". She did a good job too, no wet shoes or pants. I bet those other kids can't do that! LOL
We have had a really good day! I'm really looking forward to the party this weekend. Later!

I love the grass potty. That's too funny. Sounds like those other moms need to get with the program. If you can't wear sweats to the park where can you wear them? Your family is so sweet.
