Here is the latest on Mr. Isaac. He is most of the time smiling and happy. He's now grabbing his feet and trying his best to get them in his mouth. He's drooling all over the place, sitting up in his high chair, and doing very well at his attempt to sit up by himself. He tripods for about a minute then he kind of falls over. We finally lowered his mattress so he can't catapult himself out of the bed. He's so strong. He's doing great and growing fast.
Ada is just becoming quite the little girl. The other day she noticed my toenails were red. I've had my toenails painted before, but she just now noticed in the sense that hers could be red too.
So, I bought some polish and we painted nails and toenails. She was a trooper about it. We only had to redo one of her big toes. She has the shape of Darren's feet, but she sure got my toes, short and fat.
Her latest thing is dress up and playing the damsel in distress. She will replay a scene from sleeping beauty where she lies down with her shoes on and wants someone to come kiss her to wake her up. It's quite funny. If she falls down she wants a boy or a prince to help her up. The other day Grayson was here and she fell down, I'm sure on purpose, and she would not let anyone help her up but Grayson. She was the princess and he was the prince she informed him. She did the same thing at the mall play area. She fell down and told me "no mommy" as she yelled at several other random boys to help her up. Of course they are all just looking at her like she's crazy, but she was insistent about a boy helping her up. I didn't teach her that.
If you will notice in the picture she is wearing the infamous "blue dress." I've heard I want that "blue dress" a million times. It's the dress like Dorothy on "Wizard of Oz" and she loves to wear it. She would sleep in it if I would let her. She also has a basket she carries around with her while wearing the dress. She does pay attention to details.
She's quite the drama queen or princess should I say. It's fun to see her develop her own personality and imagination. And so it begins for the next several years, painting nails, dressing up, and dealing with all the attitude that comes along with it. Wish me luck!

OK, I can't get my post to look right I've tried editing it and moving the pictures around and it looks right when I preview it, as you can see it doesn't look right when you post it. Suggestions?
I didnt notice it looked funny-Ill look again. That is TOO funny about her being a "damsel (sp?) in distress!" and only wanting boys to help her, LOL. Her and Jackson would get along well, as long as she didnt mind Batman saving her. And we have 2 batman costumes that Jackson wears almost everyday. They are getting holes in them.
Does it take out all the spaces? That drives me nuts and I can't figure out how to fix it. I just put a period on each line I want to be a space so that it doesn't take it out.
I know YOU didn't teach her to need a man to help her up! We got to work on the independent woman part of princess.
Love the stories!
That is so funny about the boys at the mall. Ada & Bailey are so much alike. She is the princess in whatever is the last movie she was watching. She wears her princess dresses and acts out scences in movies constantly. We have also been painting nails. She had been asking for about a week so I finally gave in. I painted her nails with some kid nail polish that only lasted a couple of days and then she started asking again. So fun huh?
I'm sure there will be some drama in the coming years, but oh, it will be soooo fun! I can't wait!
