OK, so enough hounding me, I'm finally getting to post some news on my blog. Isaac is asleep in his car seat and Ada is at school. It's almost to quiet around here. Anyway, for the past two weeks, we have been out of town. But here are a few pictures from our trip. We were at my mom's house and while we were there my friend Katie and her children, Hannah and Janson, came to visit. We had such a great time, I was sad to see them leave.
We spent a lot of time outside, since my parents have so much land, and Ada had a blast. My nephew Zackary came to visit several times and here is picture of some fun they had. Everytime Zackary came to visit, it was like Ada hadn't seen him in forever. She was so excited to see him, it was like me getting to meet Brad Pitt. He was so sweet to her while we were there. My mom moved all the toys upstairs, and he would lead her by the hand up the stairs, saying don't be scared Ada, you can do it. They played up there several times and never complained.
Ada just had to wear these boots everywhere and she insisted on wearing those leggings with them. What can I say, I guess she has a little country in her. My dad was so proud she wanted to wear camoflauge. She did look cute.

Since that time we have made it home, had Thanksgiving, and went to Branson. I didn't have my camara at Thanksgiving, but my sisiter-in-law Shelley took some pictures. She has them posted on her blog, http://www.anotherdayatthefreemans.blogspot.com/. We spent Thanksgiving morning at Darren's parents house. While we were there, Ada and Grayson, my nephew, played in a pile of leaves. I guess now, it's kind of a tradition since they did that last year as well. Shelley has pictures of this on her blog. Also, as I was talking to Grayson, he sounded like he needed some attention and I asked him if he needed a a hug and a kiss, and he was so sweet, he said yeah, then he followed that by saying he also needed some cake. It was so cute. He is getting so big.
After Thanksgiving we all went to my grandmother's house for another meal, and it was so hard to stuff more food in, but it was too good to pass up. After we left there we went to Branson, where we stayed in a condo. It was soo nice. We had such a good time. My sisiter and her finance, Brad, came and stayed with us, and of course my parents. We took the kids to Branson Landing and saw the water fountain show. They loved it. Me, my mom, and my sister went there to get our Christmas shopping done, and boy did we. We started shopping from Thursday night at midnight to Friday afternoon. It was exhausting but we did get our Christmas shopping done. Let me just say, if you have never been to Wal-mart for the 5 am shopping on Black Friday, you haven't experienced shopping madness. People are crazy. I can't tell you how many times I got hit by a buggy. I heard later that someone acutally died in all that craziness. Isn't that horrible? So, if you are ever thinking of going to wal-mart on black Friday at 5 am make sure you are well protected and prepared to get pushed, shoved, and well I guess to get the present you came for. I have decided that from now on, no gift is worth that.
While we were at Branson Landing, the bass pro shop had Santa pictures and Ada and Zackary got to tell Santa what they wanted for Christmas. Ada said of course Candy, then books, then toys, and barbies, which she calls "those girls." Zack said, cars and trucks, and list of other toys.
It was so cold, it actually snowed all day on Sunday. We had a great Thanksgiving and a lot of fun in branson. Hopefully I can stay caught up on blogging.
