Ada with Dr. Read and Dr. Readmore
Ada's first fundraiser happens to be one I really enjoyed. She had to get people to sponsor her to read for certain amounts of time. She was suppose to raise min of $32. She raised 132.00! She was the winner in her class! The fundraiser was to purchase Ipads or ipod touches to use in the classroom. Her class received an Ipod touch, but we are still hoping for an Ipad too!
They had an awards assembly on Friday and she received a book titled "Princess Polly" Quite perfect if you ask me. Although she was the winner of her class, her actual class was not in the top three earners. Grayson's, however, was! They won an ice cream party. He was super excited.
Congrats to the primary school for raising over $8,000.00. I think every class room got either an ipod touch or an ipad or both.
Friday was also wear red or clarksville shirts to cheer on the Clarksville Panther's basketball team who is playing in the state championship tournament. Isaac really thought he was a big boy walking in the kindergarten line with his big sister and Luke. He sat with the class the whole time, with one exception to come and tell me he was hungry. It was only 10 a.m.
