Clarksvillians

Our new house...

Well, we have officially arrived to Clarksville. I am starting feel like I'm "home." It helps that we have lots of family here to entertain us. I love our house. We are slowly getting the house "put" together... things on the walls, curtains hung, furniture, etc. We also got a new addition to the family... Rosie. We had promised Ada an outside dog when we moved to a place that would entertain an outside dog. She's really sweet and Ada loves her.

First Baptist church, the church we have been visiting, had a really nice firework show on the 4th. The kids loved it. The picture doesn't do it justice. IT was a great show and fun filled evening with family.

It's been a while since I've updated my blog... but hopefully I can get back on the train.

Ada is really looking forward to kindergarten. She's all registered and so excited. Isaac will probably go to First United Methodist preschool twice a week. Darren and I have a continuing argument of whether or not to send him. I wanted to keep him home with me full time, but Darren wants him to have some interaction with other kids and adults. So we compromised... this preschool is only from 8:30 to 11:30 and only twice a week. So that's not too long and he still gets the interaction.

Darren is starting his new job at Clarksville Medical Group on August 1st. I have so enjoyed him being home. He's excited to get things rolling though, and maybe get a pay check... I'm so proud of him. I know he will be a great doctor for this community. I'm adjusting to "oh you must be the new doctor's wife.." Living in a small town growing up, I'm used to the everyone knows everything about everybody... but I still don't like it. I guess I will have to brush my hair when I go out now... lol

Beach pictures soon!

Skip the hair brushing. People will get over it.
