Spring Break

We started the week in Jonesboro for a special little boy's 3rd birthday... Janson. We met at Katie's house for a little outside play before checking in at our hotel. The kids LOVE staying in a hotel. They think it is just the best thing ever... not to mention they have a pool. We did go swimming and Ada and Isaac both did great in the water. I was a little nervous since Ada really just started letting go with her floaties at the end of the swimming season last year, but she did great. Isaac, of course, is fearless... We had lots of fun!

Then off to the Little Rock Zoo with Shelley, Bobby, and Grayson. I did not take my camera so I only have a few pictures that I took with my phone, but we had a good time. The kids enjoyed seeing the animals and the warm sunshine. The zoo had a new penguin exhibit and the kids were really excited about that... Really all the kids did great! Can't wait to do it again.

The last stop was the air and space museum in Tulsa, OK. Zackary has been looking forward to this for awhile. We visited the planetarium as well. The kids were not that interested in listening to the man talking about the planets, so we didn't stay a long time in the planetarium, but it was really neat... The museum has a lot of hands on things to do. The kids got to climb in two different jets and play with all the controls. There was a flight teaching thing in which the kids got to pretend to "fly" the airplane. The rocket station had a control station where the kids got to send the "rocket" up. Lots of fun games and picture ops... LOTS of fun! I was glad we went. There was only one disappointing thing. The astronaut chair was out of order... it was the one thing that all of us were looking forward to... But we will go again!

The last part of spring break was spent camping, but since the weather was freezing... there weren't many pics. It was a nice break, but I'm ready for the routine schedule to get back to normal.
