We are went to the AR/OK state fair and had a great time! The kids road rides, got their faces painted on, and saw a few animals. Most of the livestock had already left, since it was the last weekend of the fair, but we did get to see a few... Zack wanted to ride the bumper cars so bad, well really drive the bumper cars, but he wasn't quite tall enough to drive alone yet. So, Darren drove and Zack directed. They had a lot of fun. The race car ride was a lot of fun for all of them... It sort of "fish-tailed" around the corner, and pretty fast too, and the kids loved it!! They all just laughed and smiled... And of course, the face painting was a big hit. It was airbrush painting so it went fast. Isaac was super still and super excited to get a football on his face. Ada got cute little red hearts... (so Ada) and Zack got a red and green dragon (so Zack).
It was a great family day and beautiful fall weather... We didn't eat any fair food, shocking I know, but it was early afternoon, and the kids wanted La Huerta!
