Fun at Build A Bear....

Last Week, we all went to visit Katie in Jonesboro for a few days. The kids are always excited to go... We stayed pretty low key due to the hot weather, but the children really didn't seem to mind. On Tuesday we decided to go to the mall and eat lunch and play at the mall. When we first get there, all the kids were promised a cookie if they behaved well while at the mall. On the way to the play area, we passed build a bear and all the kids wanted to do it.... well, you know me... I'm such a sucker....
After play time, we stopped in a few stores with the kids... It was nap time with five kids in a women's clothing store... how do you think it went? Exactly... To their defense, as the parents, we should have known better and they never damaged or touched any merchandise in the store, they were just five, tired, loud, and never sat still kids. Katie had already said no cookies for the kids... As Katie is checking out, I take the kids out aka build a bear and let them all get a bear. They had such a great time and they all have just loved their little bears. Katie was not super excited about it, but to my defense, they did not receive cookies, right?!

ON a side note, there was a slight altercation with the sales lady.... She acted a little irritated that we were in the store with our children, so we had a little discussion about that... I also made a formal to complaint to the store online... I will not be discriminated against for having multiple children! I got an instant reply, coupons, and a sincere apology. My point is to this is, if you work in retail, you have to want to deal with people and it shouldn't be ok to hire people who are rude!

People sometimes are just rude and unknowing. Every child is a blessing. I think its really sad for the others that look at sweet children in a negative way. But know that its their deal not the people doing Gods will to add to his world with beautiful children. I get this post I promise.

Oh Shelley that is a story too long for the comments section. Bottom line - you just can't take Rachel anywhere with drama following!

No, seriously, the lady was really rude, but Rachel handled it, we made our purchases, and left.
