Ada had ended her first year of dance with a great recital... This past year she took her first ballet/tap classes. She had a so much fun... For the first couple of weeks all she did was talk about dance this and dance that. She is such a girly girl anyway. She was immediately hooked. And she actually has learned the positions of ballet and some tap movements....
Ada has made new friends from her dance class and I have made friends with their mothers... It was a great dance "year." The recital was good... Some of the kids were distracted (including Ada at some points), but overall all of the kids did great. I was so excited to see the biggest smile on Ada's face the entire time. That was enough for me! Ada loved her costumes. She loves tutus, and the bigger the better! I know the costs of these costumes are only going to increase as she gets older, but it's worth it right?!
Can't wait to see what next year's dance classes will bring. Too bad when we move to Clarksville, we'll be driving to Russellville for dance... Maybe we can recruit a dance teacher to Clarksville...
