a few funny stories from Ada

Yesterday at Wal-Mart, we were picking out grapes and Ada says to me: Mom, I need to tell you something. I say ok what is it. Ada: Well, Grammy took me to walmart and she got a grape and wiped it on her pants and ATE IT! That's gross mommy, she forgot to wash it.

I laughed so hard... the microbiologist in me has always stressed you must wash all fruit. And Ada being quite the particular girl she is, she just couldn't fathom someone eating a grape without washing it. I loved how she chalked it up to Grammy must have just forgotten, because surely she knows to wash the grapes before you eat them.

Also, one day when i picked her up from school this week she had quite the boogie hanging from her nose. I told her you have a boogie hanging out of your nose, and so she wanted to pick it herself (with a kleenex of course). She then informed me that Boogies are gross!! And that we don't eat boogies, that's gross. Then she proceeded to tell me that Daddy was silly and he ate his boogies when he was little and in school... lol... I promise I did not tell her that! I don't know if Darren did in fact pick his nose (I seriously doubt it), but it sure was funny to hear her say that.
