some updates

Wow, I haven't blogged about my kids in a while... Let's see, Isaac is about to be 10 months, he has two teeth on the bottom and working on the two top ones. He has definitely mastered the crawling and wants to let go and walk so bad, but for now he's just pulling up and cruising around.
He recently had his 9 month pictures taken. Here are few from that. His pictures are taken by LeighAnn Hasley, her website is http://www.stillmomentsbyleighann.com/. She's so great!

Ada is just getting more and more independent. She's really been wanting to do everything by herself and quite frustrated if she can't. She is growing as well. Since her birthday she has definitely gotten taller. Lately we have done quite a few water activities and I'm really trying to get the swimming down this summer. However, she's not doing so great we are for sure going to do swim lessons. Here are few pics of Ada over the past couple of weeks.

this is at Grayson's 3rd birthday party

Here are a few stories that about Ada over the past couple of weeks. In case you don't know Ada calls Target the "red store" and for some reason she thinks it has everything she needs there, ( I have no idea where she came up with that...) anyway, we were watching a DVR disney movie and a commercial came on about the movie "night at the museum" and she said can we watch that mommy and I said well we don't have it and she said well we can go to the red store and get it. So, she obviously has that concept down.

I've also noticed that Ada is very compassionate for her age and she really gets it when something is sad. She was watching Lady and the Tramp and the part where Lady is in the pound, She is yelling to me as she is crying "Mommy she's sad..." talking about Lady. So I console her but she is not satisfied really until the end where everyone is happy. Same goes for the lion king, when the daddy dies.... of course I'm not much better I still cry when the daddy dies.

Hope everyone is enjoying the summer. I'm sure looking forward to some cooler days though!

Isaac is getting so big! He is a cutie pie to say the least. Tell Ada that I said you need to get him a Prince chair to put beside the princess! They both are adorable!
