In April, we went to visit my friend Katie in Starkville, Mississippi. It was an adventure driving there with my two kids, solo, but we made it. We enjoyed our visit and had a lot of fun while we were there. On saturday, we went to the mail, b/c I had some gymbucks to use and can't let those go to waste. Hannah and Ada quickly found some entertainment... After a short shopping experience we let the girls ride the carousel that is actually inside the mall.
As you can see, they were very proud of themselves for riding it "all by myself" as they said.
We went to a couple fo different parks and here is a pic of Isaac enjoying a graham cracker.
We also did some scrapbooking while I was there and well, we all know you can't scrap without some goodies, so we made some banana pudding with Loorna doones intead of vanilla weafers, so good...
We also took a trip to Mississippi State University, this where Travis works. It's a really big campus. Hannah and Ada got their picture made riding "Bully." It was hot but we enjoyed the capmus activities. J-town was just along for the ride...
Thanks Katie for the fun trip and letting us invade your house. It was a nice getaway for us.
