The Marsh Family

I am writing this post in hope that it will reach others that are willing to pray for this family. Darren and I joined Grand Avenue Baptist Church about a year ago and couldn't be happier with our church family. Although, it's a large church so you don't know everyone, but we do attend a Sunday school class where we have met some great friends. I have personally never met the Marsh family, but I know they are definitely in need of prayer. They have a son named Collin who was diagnosed with Leukemia at nine months old. He is now one, and waiting for a bone marrow transplant in Texas. He was scheduled to receive it this month, but he has RSV and needs lots of prayer for his recovery. Not only does he need prayer his mom and dad need prayer as well. They are at Little Rock children's hospital, out of their comfort zone, and away from their home. As parents we could all imagine what they are going through, so pray for them and that God's will for them to be done. We all like to think we're in control, but as Christians we know we are not, and Thank God for that! I am asking that you post on your blog for prayer for the Marsh family and if you don't have a blog, send an email. I know of a few people who have already posted prayer for them on their blogs, so I'm hoping to continue to the process.
