Princess Ada's 3rd Birthday Party

Sorry it has taken me so long to get this together. The past couple of weeks have just been crazy. So, for Ada's birthday we had a princess party. She is really into all the Disney princesses, so it seemed only fitting. Her favorite is Aurora, but she's been watching Snow White when we go to my parents, and Aurora is starting to come in second.
A few things that happened that day were quite interesting. First, Ada was being crazy about the camera. She did not want her picture taken which is unusual for my child. Anytime you ask her to say cheese and look at the camera, she usually does, but not on her birthday. I think she thought is was fun for us to be chasing her around trying to get a picture. And, a baby squirrel fell out of our tree in the backyard while we were playing with the kids. That's right, not kidding. We have a big pine tree in our backyard and it has a squirrel's nest in it. The wind was blowing pretty hard that day, so I don't know if it got close to the edge and fell out or what, but it was crazy. The poor little thing didn't even have it's eyes open. I felt sorry for it. And, then we had to keep all the kids away from it. My mom finally got a few sticks and moved it over close to the fence. We looked the next day and didn't see it, so I'm just gonna assume its mommy came and got it. That's what I told Ada. She asked me a thousand times, is the baby squirrel ok? Did it's mommy come and get it? Zackary was quite concerned as well. He was so sweet. My suggestion was to call the game and fish or animal control people to come and get it, but no one is available on a Saturday, or ever everyone said for a squirrel. But Zackary was on my side. He said " you call em aunt Rachel and tell them to help that baby squirrel."
We had such a great time. I put together this slide show with most of the pictures. My SIL Shelley does such a great job with pictures. I had to wait on getting her copies before I finished the slide show.
It's hard to believe that my little girl is three. She has grown up so fast. She is such a nurturing sweet little girl and I hope she always stays that way. Enjoy the pics!

Rachel, I'm pretty sure that is one of the cutest birthday parties I have ever seen! You went all out!! I really need to have a princess party one day, or at least, maybe I should just go to one! ;o) LOVE all the pictures! By the way, I'm really impressed that Ada will watch Snow White. I am STILL terrified of that witch! Thanks for the well wishes, hope the rest of you stay well!

Aww, loved the slideshow. I especially loved that picture of her in her blue and white dress holding a sword, lol.

What a great party! Sorry we missed it. Tell Ada that the Aurora doll came from Disney-where the princesses live!

Ada's changing. She is really growing up. And her hair is already starting to get lighter from being outside this season!

I'm glad you got the pictures all together. Wish we could have been there!
